Where is it Located?
The hotel is situated between the plush residential area of Ikoyi and the new upscale business district of Victoria Island in Lagos. It is within a few kilometres of the beach, 10 km from the old city centre, and 30 km from the international airport.
How Many Rooms?
Southern Sun Ikoyi Hotel has a total of 195 luxury rooms. The luxury rooms are spread across different categories: 86 Standard Rooms, 97 Executive Rooms, five Junior Suites, four Suites, two Executive Suites and a room dedicated or the physically challenged guests. All the rooms have LCD Screen TV; a security key card system for doors; tea/ coffee station; digital safe; two bottles of water daily; two shirts pressed on arrival; fully stocked mini bar; hair dryer; bedside reading lamp; work station and, my favourite – the complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access. As with all the rooms, the junior suite has an inviting decor with classic contemporary lines complemented by crisp linens and fabrics.
Banqueting and Conferencing
The hotel has a suite of well-appointed meeting rooms that are suitable venues for holding seminars as well as business and private functions. The Oduduwa Hall is the biggest conference room. It seats 80 guests for a full banquet dinner and 100 guests in a cocktail setting. There are also smaller rooms: a board room for small business meetings for 12 guests and two others which seats six guests each.
Leisure Facilities
Southern Sun Ikoyi prides itself with a well equipped Gym, Sauna, Steam Room, and a Massage parlour, and after a long day spent doing business or enjoying your leisure hours, the inviting pool terrace of the hotel beckons you to take time out for a rejuvenating dip in the pool or simply relax while sipping sundowners.

The Prestigious Ikoyi Club offers Golf/Tennis/Squash/Badminton, etc., for guests of the hotel.
Restaurants and Bars
The food is great! The Restaurant serves daily breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets and yet still caters for an à la carte menu when required. Sunday Champagne brunch is also a product of the restaurant whose rich spread of food has sold itself to numerous families, friends, groups and hotel guests.

If asked to describe the hotel in one line, I would say ‘affordable indulgence’.
