On 3 June, Kenya Airways will send its recently-acquired Boeing 787 Dreamliner on its first flight to Paris, as it boosts capacity to meet growing demand on the route.

The Dreamliner will depart from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 22h45 every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 06h20. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, the Dreamliner will fly from Paris, departing Charles de Gaulle at 10h55, and arriving at JKIA in Nairobi at 20h25.

In other news, KQ will launch flights to Abuja, Nigeria, on 6 June. Initially, the schedule will accommodate four flights a week between the countries’ two capital cities, leaving Nairobi every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, using a Boeing B737-700 aircraft, before returning the same day.

And on 2 June, the airline will once again fly to Zanzibar, Tanzania. The daily service will leave Nairobi at 22h30 and arrive at Unguja, Zanzibar’s main isle, at 23h45, using an Embraer E190. This flight will be operated in addition to two daily code-shared flights with Tanzania’s Precision Air, which leave at 08h10 and 18h50.
