Delta Air Lines has relocated some of its key services to join Virgin Atlantic Airways at Heathrow International Airport’s Terminal 3, as the two airlines start flying their new and aligned summer schedules.

Delta has moved its arrival and departure terminal for several important business markets, including its London-New York JFK, London-Boston, and new London-Seattle services, to Terminal 3 for greater customer convenience.

Delta’s new transatlantic routes include a West Coast service between Seattle and London Heathrow, which commenced flying on 30 March, and a second daily service between London Heathrow and Detroit Metropolitan Airport effective 2 June.

The two airlines’ summer schedule includes a total of 32 peak daily non-stop flights between North America and the UK. Of these, 25 flights will operate between London Heathrow and popular US destinations such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta and Washington.
