RwandAir will commence direct daily flights between Entebbe (Uganda) and Nairobi (Kenya) from the 29th of January.
This follows the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Uganda, South Sudan, Kenya and Rwanda, which permitted negotiations of Fifth Freedom rights by the carriers from the respective countries.
The route will be operated by Next Generation dual class Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft. Flights are scheduled to depart at 09h00 from Entebbe and at 21h00 from Nairobi, primarily catering for the demands of the business and the short-stay travellers.
The airline established a direct service from Entebbe to Juba (South Sudan) in mid-2014 in response to the urgent demand of air transportation service between both cities.
