SAA reroutes flights

South African Airways will reroute its flights from Douala International Airport (Cameroon) to Yaoundé, due to the closure of the airport in Douala for reconstruction work.

SAA’s four weekly flights from Johannesburg to Libreville (Gabon) and onwards to Douala will be rerouted from 1 to 21 March to the Nsimalen International Airport in Yaoundé for the duration of the airport closure.

Customers will be re-accommodated accordingly.

Flights will resume the Johannesburg-Libreville-Douala routing from 22 March, should the Douala International Airport be open.

Flight SA086 will leave Johannesburg on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 14h50, landing in Libreville at 18h40. The onward flight to Yaoundé departs at 19h25 and lands at 20h30.

The return flight, on the same days, will depart Cameroon at 21h30 and arrive in Gabon at 22h35. The onward flight leaves Libreville at 23h40 and arrives in South Africa at 05h20 the following morning.
