According to eTNW, the Sabi River Sun Hotel closed accommodation last month for renovations, which are expected to last four months.
The resort and the Sesonke restaurant, the outdoor terrace, the golf bar restaurant and public areas of the hotel will remain open for business during the renovations.
The re-opening is scheduled for 3 October, when the hotel will offer 60 newly refurbished rooms, complete with new soft furnishings and air-conditioning.
The bathrooms will be updated and include walk-in showers, new doors and aluminium window panes.
The exterior façade of the hotel will also receive a facelift, with touch-ups and new balcony railings.
