SunSquare Cape Town open for business Tsogo Sun’s SunSquare Cape Town – situated in in the City Bowl – officially opened its doors last week.
“When reviewing the property’s recent $3.5 million refurbishment, we saw the SunSquare brand as an ideal fit for the hotel’s contemporary style, ambience and location in the city’s tourism hub,” said Tsogo Sun CEO, Marcel von Aulock. “The decision was thus taken to rebrand the De Waal property”.
The hotel has 136 contemporary-styled fully refurbished rooms and a spacious lobby extending into a bar area and terrace. The selection of conference rooms can host anything from intimate meetings to large functions, with seating for up to 120 people. SunSquare Cape Town’s new restaurant Zepi offers fresh seasonal ingredients in a rotating menu of starters, mains and desserts along with signature dishes like the Bazaruto chicken, prego rolls and pizzas.
