In a recent partnership, the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa joined up with Waze, the world’s largest community-based traffic and navigation app, to alert-guide travellers to all TGCSA-graded establishments in the area, in real-time.
Waze provides turn-by-turn navigation information and user-submitted travel times and route details, while downloading location-dependent information over a mobile telephone network.
Using innovation such as Waze is an opportunity to highlight TGCSA’s approach to modern technology and how it can assist establishments to be recognised in the palm of travellers’ hands.
