Travelport, a distribution services and e-commerce provider for the global travel industry, has signed a participation agreement with South Africa’s Woodford Exclusive Rentals.
Once implemented, Woodford’s vehicles will be bookable on Galileo via the WF car vendor code.
Woodford has a fleet of over a thousand vehicles and operates from seven different locations, including all four of South Africa’s major airports. The group offers three divisions that cover everything from truck and car rentals to logistics and services.
“This new agreement allows us to reach new customers both locally and globally – customers who will now have an opportunity to buy, book, and manage Woodford through the efficiency of the Travelport GDS channel,” said Woodford Group Managing Director, Mohamed Owais Suleman.
