Turkish Airlines has added Kano (Nigeria) and N’djamena (Chad) to its network, bringing to 243 the number destinations on its schedule.

The airline now has a presence in 25 African countries.

The second largest city of Nigeria, Kano is its second destination in Nigeria – with existing service to Lagos. N’djamena, the capital and largest city of Chad, is its first destination in that country.

Both Kano and N’djamena flights will be operated four times per week, beginning 12 December. The flight leaves Istanbul at 20h35 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and lands in Kano at 01h20. The flight continues to N’Djamena from Kano at 02h15 and lands at 03h30. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the airline leaves N’djamena at 04h25 and arrives in Istanbul at 10h50.

For the first six months of service to the new destinations, Miles&Smiles members are offered a 25% reduction in the miles needed to redeem either award tickets or upgrades.
